A ‘highly rated’ Herefordshire cafe is for sale due to family commitments.
Agents Hilton Smythe were delighted to present Thorns Coffee Lounge on the market, with an asking price of £129,999.
Agents said the business, established in 2018, is a highly regarded and well-established cafe based in Ross On Wye with an excellent reputation and strong following in the town.
“The company is only now entering the open market due to family commitments of our guests,” Hilton Smythe said.
The cafe, in Croft Lane, serves locally roasted coffee and could be improved by extending opening hours, offering an expanded menu and introducing the Sunday and evening trade, officers said.
It has an outside seating area that can accommodate some 36 seats, while there is space for another 40 seats inside.
The business occupies a single-fronted unit, with large windows and a front entrance, and a counter with cash register, coffee machine, blenders, speed oven and microwave, ice cream freezer and under-counter refrigerator .

The cafe has an outdoor seating area which can easily accommodate around 36 covers leading to the main entrance to the cafe which also has around 40 covers including 8 soft seats.
Officers said they were advised the business had four members of staff, a turnover of around £175,000 in 2022 and was being sold on a lease with three years remaining on the lease for three years and an annual rent of £. 9,000.
