A new cafe with outdoor dining has opened in central Bath and it looks lovely.
Sweet Little Things has officially expanded to its second unit on Old Bond Street, having only been on Lower Borough Walls since 2018.
Started by mother-daughter team Fiona and Natalie Bonnici, the tea room started out as a quiet place for retirees to grab a scone or cream tea. But it’s quickly become a popular spot for everyone and is a hit with bachelorette parties as it’s known for its ornate decor.

The company shared stunning photos of its new unit on social media, showing how the site is transformed with bright pink decor and flowers. It was a Bobbi Brown, but it looked tired and empty for months before the Bonnicis took it over.
The cafe also offers al fresco dining and the family have applied to Bath and North East Somerset Council for a pavement license to serve food outdoors. Al fresco dining will work well with Coppa, an Italian restaurant, which is currently renovating the former Gap store nearby.
Sweet Little Things will be serving its favorite mix of teas and cakes, take-out or eat-in, as there will be other seating upstairs as well. The tea room has a full menu for brunch, lunch and afternoon tea and they hope to open by the end of the month in the new location.
The family also run Café Au Lait on Dorchester Street, which is the perfect place for commuters to grab a coffee, as it is opposite the train station.
