WILLIAMSTOWN – After much anticipation, chef Corey Wentworth announces the opening of his cafe and market located in the store at Five Corners, 4 New Ashford Road in South Williamstown, MA.
Wentworth and his team have worked diligently to refresh the 252-year-old building to accommodate neighbors near and far to this much-loved community center. The operator/chef works closely with Berkshire County farmers, vendors and artists to provide the basis for the cafe’s menu, grocery items and gift selections.
Wentworth strives to create a warm and inviting environment that captures the essence of a valuable community asset, adding, “I want our customers and staff to enjoy a friendly atmosphere, delicious food, as well as each other’s company and conversation.”
The cafe will offer a local and seasonal menu, and the market shelves will be stocked with everyday staples at reasonable prices and new favourites. The menu will include breakfast from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by sandwiches and salads, served until 7:00 p.m. A take-out counter will offer selected menu items, prepared fresh daily, and weekly take-out, available in the late afternoon for those short on time and looking for restaurant-quality meals.
Store hours will be Tuesday through Friday (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.); Saturday (8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) and Sunday (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.). Wentworth provides on-site beer and wine license approval. Once granted, the store will remain open until 9:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, with additional menu items and specials available during extended evening hours.
