XI’AN, Sept. 25, 2022 (Xinhua) — The International Day of the Deaf falls on the fourth Sunday in September. Since 2019, the Shaanxi Urban Economy School has been offering free barista training for the hearing impaired. Trainees can learn coffee making skills as well as knowledge about running a coffee shop during the training program, which could help them pave the way to either start their coffee business or find a job in this industry. So far, more than 20 graduates from the training program are working in cafes at various locations across China.
