Launch of Qmin coffee in Guwahati


Qmin – the gourmet culinary and food delivery platform by Indian hotel company (IHCL) launched its first cafe in Guwahati on Friday.

The cafe was launched at Aurus Mall near Dispur Super Market.

The launch of the café marks the establishment of the 17th Qmin Café in the country. Offering a variety of artisan products, handpicked treats and an extravagant range of hot and cold beverages, Qmin Café is a one-stop-shop for urban foodies.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Jayanta Das, Cluster General Manager, IHCL, “Qmin’s expansion is in line with the strategy of developing its F&B portfolio across multiple market segments. With Qmin Café’s first outlet in the northeast, customers can now expect a differentiated epicurean experience, where they can enjoy high-quality produce, global flavors and delicious beverages, all of which cater to Guwahati delicacies.

Drawing inspiration from the outlines of tea and coffee plantations around the world, the interiors of the new Café are surrounded by complementary soft wood surfaces in bright hues and colorful fabrics, which lend a youthful charm to the space. Magnifying its Qurated Quality Quisine brand positioning, the cafe’s design celebrates the joy of sharing a cup of coffee and tea with delicious food in an uninhibited and free space. The menu showcases global delights, ranging from innovative baked goods, Indian snacks to a wide range of delicious desserts.

Since its launch in mid-2020, Qmin has rapidly expanded to 20 cities, offering comfort food as well as IHCL restaurant favorites. The brand is available on its proprietary Qmin app, responding to consumer demand for online food delivery. It has expanded its reach to include the Qmin store offering a variety of gourmet products and a cafe. Qmin – On The Move, the food truck, meets the need for meals on the go.

Qmin Café will soon be available on the Qmin app for online orders and deliveries.

Qmin was launched in June 2020. The Qmin app brings dishes from the group’s signature restaurants to the comfort of customers’ homes in 20 cities from over 90 IHCL restaurants in over 35 hotels.
