Sheffield’s second Pom Kitchen vegan cafe is set to open this weekend. The venue is set to open in the former Priceless bargain store on Crookes.

The Sharrow Vale Road shop, which has been around since 2017, is known for its colorful treats, serving up rainbow bagels, pink milkshakes and jaw-dropping salads. The new Crookes store is in a larger building.

Panels are now in place on the glass facade and staff have made final preparations to complete the work before opening.

Patrons say there will be room for sit-down dining, but they expect the focus to be on take-out.

They also plan to have a vegan deli counter.

A spokesman said today they would open from this weekend.

She added: “Pom Crookes will be a vegan cafe, kitchen and deli, selling cakes, pastries and plates of delicious vegan food from our take-out kitchen.

“Now, with our larger space, we’ve added tons of exciting new additions to Pom. On the retail side, we have rainbow dried flowers, fashion and home items all purchased with a keen eye for design that sits alongside the finest vegan charcuterie, including artisan cheeses and freshly baked bread.

“We want the Pom experience to be totally immersive and a really fun space… who knows what the future holds?”

“We are opening from this weekend.
