Enter the stunning new venue of award-winning chef and restaurateur Daniel Ridgeway and his wife Ruggie; Palm Beach Ave is a bright, modern, art deco-inspired restaurant and cafe.
Serving a contemporary Aussie menu, seating over 150 diners, and boasting an all-weather ocean-view balcony, you’re sure to enjoy your experience at Palm Beach Ave; they even have a place where you can take your dog and offer them something from their own dog menu.
“Our vision was to create a place that would pay homage to the region. Coastal, relaxed, unassuming, but still with a slick fit that anyone in swim shorts to a suit would feel comfortable with. As with all of our Ridgeway Group locations, we source quality local produce and offer a food offering that will appeal. We are now open. said chef and owner, Daniel Ridgeway.
The venue will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 7 a.m. until late, operating for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is the first of Ridgeaways locations to offer breakfast.
“Due to the location it wouldn’t be good if we weren’t open for breakfast. Our breakfast menu includes classics like Egg Benny and Bacon and Egg Spring Rolls, as well as savory Chicken Karaage Waffles. said chef and owner, Daniel Ridgeway.
Breakfast will operate as a “café”, with customers able to order at the counter or via QR code from their table. Breakfast is available until 11:30 a.m.
The lunch menu starts from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Some featured items include a prawn and bug roll, porcini arancini, salad, and pizza.
Dinner at Palm Beach Ave is available from 5:00 PM and will offer the option of QR code or full table service. The extensive menu includes oysters, pizzas, pastas, burgers, rolls, grilled seafood and meats.
“This menu was designed with my team so that there is something for everyone. As casual as a double oyster cheeseburger, a filet of walleye snapper or a hearty sirloin steak. I’m particularly excited about our raw section, which offers an array of fresh seafood including trevally sashimi, flambé scallop sashimi, and spicy tuna tartare. said Daniel Ridgeway.
Other dinner dishes include Franks red buffalo wings, sticky pork salad, prawn and insect agnolotti, stew pappardelle Bolognese, salmon fillet and a lemon herb chicken. Palm Beach Ave will also feature an extensive wine collection.
Your pampered pooch will also be spoiled for choice with their very own Doggy menu, including the “BFF bowl” with jasmine rice, premium ground beef, boiled carrots or the “Who’s a good dog” with roast chicken breast and finely grated steamed vegetables.
“It’s next-level food for your four-legged best friend. We even have a menu of dog drinks, all natural and alcohol-free, but a special blend just for dogs, including pawroni and pawsecco from The Barkery. So even your pooch can be spoiled at Palm Beach Ave in our outdoor garden,” says Daniel Ridgeway.
Daniel will head the kitchen at Palm Beach Ave, along with his Little Truffle chef, Jason Burt. Brad Wakefield also joins the team as Venue Manager, who has experience at some of Queensland’s most award-winning venues including Husk Distillery, Crystalbrook Byron, Halcyon House and Gerards Bar.
