The menu features entrees that incorporate a variety of chilli cheeses, including prawn scampi with pesto and chilli feta cheese in a white wine garlic sauce, sautéed onions and grape tomatoes over pasta. with angel hair; a black truffle chilli cheese burger with sautéed mushrooms and black truffle chilli cheese; and Smoked Gouda Macaroni Balls made with Smoked Chili Gouda Cheese Balls.
Other menu items include mini charcuterie plates, wraps, soups, and a selection of desserts like chili cheesecakes and chili cheese biscuits.
West, who was given the nickname Suga at the birth of his first grandchild, is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Atlanta and has previously worked with chefs such as Hilary White, formerly of The Hil in Serenbe, and Georgia Grown’s Holly Chute. She founded Suga’s with her husband Robert and son Quinton Jones, also a chef.
Suga’s Cheese Shoppe and Cafe is open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
